Sep 2011: Only two weeks left until the World Resources Forum 2011

Dear colleagues and friends,

We are pleased with the very high interest in the World Resources Forum. In less than two weeks from now our high-level guests, including the EU Commissioner for Environment, Janez Potocnic, will open the Forum, after which a rich program of plenary and parallel sessions, side-events and report launches will unfold. Outcomes will be reported to the Earth Summit (Rio +20, June 2012).

Among the highlights are the release of two brand new UNEP reports on resource-efficiency, workshops of the Rathenau Institute (on bio-economy in Chinese and European perspective) and others, meetings with EU Parliamentarians, a well-filled business session, with speakers including our new platinum sponsor Hewlett Packard and other business leaders, Speak with the Speakers sessions, and ... the world premiere of the Mummenschanz 40 years anniversary jubileum show.

All program details can be found here: www.worldresourcesforum.org/preliminary-program-wrf-2011-overview.

Now is the time to register at www.worldresourcesforum.org/registration.

If registering for the conference poses serious financial difficulties - for instance due to recent foreign exchange rate increases - you are invited to write to info@worldresourcesforum.org so that we can consider an exceptional discount (only very limited possibilities).

We look forward to seeing you in Davos,

The WRF 2011 congress team
