Welcome to the Blog from the “World Resource Youth Group”
“Nature provides a free lunch, but only if we control our appetites.”
William Ruckelshaus
After the “World Resource Forum 2009” (WRF 09) we, a group of students from Switzerland and Austria, who had the great chance to attend the Forum, were so concerned about the state of the earth and the road humankind is headed, that we started to form a network. Sharing the belief that we can change something – and we will!
The aim of this Blog is to offer concerned minds information about environment and resources - and to convince the others. Furthermore it should show the upcoming events and serve as a tool to organise the “World Resource Youth Group”.
In the beginning the Blog started as the “Student Reporter Blog” from the “WRF 2009”. 6 students from all over the world reported 3 days long on the “WRF 2009”, but after the Forum the Blog changed its purpose - and is now ours!
We hope you’ll find the answers to your questions and invite you to participate in our network. If you are interested in our network write to Simon Sutterlütti (simon.sutterlueti@energieinstitut.at).
We are open for comments and critiques.
To keep in touch, please register for the WRF newsletter.
